Environmental risk reduction

Preparation, response, and recovery to environmental risk are core responsibilities of individuals and societies.  Projects in the lab explore options for environmental risk reduction using methods from surveys to AI to air and water quality measurements. We quantify risk factors and test possible responses for a wide-range of  environmental risks, especially  wildfire and coastal flooding.
